FAMILY GATHERINGS... BABY CHICKS

Some of our kids and grands, gathering for grandma Donna's
100th birthday.

She is amazing, she still lives in her own home,
she know everything that is going on with all
of us and with all the world!

She is healthy and doing very well, she
remembers more about our lives than we
do and is always fun to talk with.

Donna's children and their spouses...More about her 100th
birthday party in the next post below.

Sophia, playing peek a boo with grandma...

There she is!

Michael & Lindsey came to St. George and
took me to breakfast at Kneaders.

Jonah is the sweetest baby ever! He is always pleasant
and so cute!

Just put him in a pile of toys and he is happy.

Or in grandma's sink..he loved that!

I have a new hobby...Welcome to our funny farm!
I found this cute tin and hung it on the chickens
run.

We found the little door at the D.I. a thrift store,
and cut it down to fit our new chickens run
and home, it's nice to be able to just walk in.

The new baby chicks spent their first week in the house, the
little grands had fun coming to visit and hold them.

Ella was SO excited and loved them SO much!

Sophia was so tender with them...

they just tickled her little heart so much!

They stayed in a big card board box keeping them warm.

Bo loved to stand guard over them...

It's amazing how fast they grew...I held them a lot so they
are quite tame now.

After a week, we built them a new home and moved them
into it. At night a light keeps them warm.

Michael & Lindsey came to help us, we
really appreciated them.

It turned out so good, I need to get the little Pickett fence
into the ground.

The babies first time coming out of the coop.
Meet, "Mama Mia" (black& white).."Hilda"
(white one) "Goldie & Dolly" (caramels)

It sits in a real good spot for sun and shade all day.

It's been hot in St. George, 104 degrees, so I bought a
mister to put in the coop for them and they just love it!

I am so loving have this new hobby, they are so sweet
and each have a different and cute personality. I am
looking forward to nice big eggs in about 6 month.
