I HAVE BEEN PLAYING....

I'm sorry to have been gone so long but I have been playing!
Doing very important stuff like...hanging out with my grands.

And I do mean "hanging out"...look at that little belly,
no, not mine, Sophia's! She loves hanging out like this!

Here she is in one of the little dresses I made for her... always smiling!

I spent three days just having fun with two of my daughters
and their little ones...playing and going out to eat and shopping.

I had so much fun that I was a bit blue when
I came home...I love being with them all.

This is what we gave this little guy for his 3 year old birthday.
He couldn't have been happier...and where did he go with it?

Out to take it for a ride in the dirt and rocks....doing those jumps!

His little sister Ella...what a hoot she is! A little girl that
loves to be in the dog kennel and everything else!

While I was there, their daddy surprised them by
bringing home a English Golden Retriever puppy!

Her name is...Lady Liberty Belle...because she was born in July.
She will be really light/white...she is so so sweet!

Ella...posing for grandma's pictures with those sticky pumpkins!

She is such a cuddly little sweetheart!

Caleb in his birthday helmet sitting on daddy's car.

Our sweet little butterfly Sophia, we sure do love her!

I love babies in this color blue...and her eyes look
like they are going to be blue too...such a darling!

Sophia is always talking and laughing and smiling...a real angel!

Can you stand more Autumn pictures?

Ron and I went for a ride up into the mountains
to get some more of that wonderful Fall
feeling and a big bunch of leaves for the house!

We took Zak...Bo...Cougar along with us,
they had so much fun. They love it when
we take them along too!

It was so magnificent! It just took our breath away at every turn in the road!

It makes me feel like a kid again to just drive along
and smell, look and feel the beauty in the mountains!

I feel so close to God when I am out in his world...
taking it all in, loving and appreciating all the beauty
that he designed for us as we live our life here on his earth.

I just could not get enough of the colors....

Glorious colors that will soon be gone...
they are such a gift to my spirit..love it!

So, that's where I have been...

I have missed all of you so very
much and I will try to catch up
with all your posts as much as I can.

~Happy Fall to All~

AN AUTUMN HORSE RIDE....

It's such a beautiful day...What do you want to do today?

Ohhh, I don't know, what do you want to do?
I don't know what should we do?

I know, lets go for a horse ride up in the
mountains and see the Autumn leaves!

Sounds good to me! Lets go!

Headed up into the mountains, the beautiful mountains!

There's a land of many charms in the highlands of the West,

Out where the sun is always shining;
Where the mountains are so tall,
and the climate is the best,
Beauty of canyons past defining.

Here the hills are rich in gold,
and in wealth of every kind,
Out where the lakes and
skies are the bluest;

Out here along the Great Western Trail...

Fruitful orchards, fields of grain,
in the valleys broad we find,

Out where all friendships are the truest.

Oh, the kind words we give shall in memory live,
And sunshine forever impart;

Let us oft speak kind words to each other,
Kind words are sweet tones of the heart.

Land of the mountains high, Utah, we love thee!
Land of the sunny sky, Utah, we love thee!
Far in the glorious West, throned on the
mountain's crest, Utah, we love thee!

Land of the Pioneers, Utah, we love thee!
My mountain home so dear, Utah, I love thee!

I love to look up as I ride, watching the eagles soar high above me...
watching the clouds paint pictures...just for me! I love to look up!

That is when I'm not looking at this guy, because
you see...Wrangler butts really do drive me nuts!

It was such a day...the Autumn colors are just
settling onto the mountains and on every side
we were surrounded by such beauty!

We have such fun when we ride, always playing games with each other....

My shadow...the one wearing Wranglers!

My job is to hold the horses while he has to get down
and open and close the gates... I've got it good!

I love to be in the lead...women always are right? LOL

Come on sweet cheeks, lets see if you can keep up with me! ;D

Every mountain was filled with color! We saw deer everywhere!

This is my favorite thing to do you know...riding with my sweet heart,
my horse of coarse...and OK... that guy following me too! (he he)

What a peaceful, fun filled day...loved it all.

Kisses for Mr. Red...thanks buddy for such a great ride!

We loaded up and drove on over more mountain
passes and more awesome color that the camera
just cannot seem to capture!

Winding mountain rivers when the cattle range
and the deer and the antelope play...really!

A beautiful and striking thing to come upon...
a monument to the mountain explorers of
the past...God bless them for all they did.

We just couldn't get enough of the beauty of this day!

We stopped at Fish Lake for a very thirsty dog...
he loves to get in the lake and swim and fetch sticks!

Then we went into a quaint old place to eat...
it sits right by the lake and people come from
all around to camp, fish and eat here!

Big fish...record size fish are caught in this lake...

The walls are covered with pictures of people with the big fish they caught here.

Time to hang up our spurs and head for the barn.

Cougar...he has had such a great day,
he could do this everyday...me too!

Good bye to the beautiful mountains...
good bye to the colors that filled my heart!

I thank God that I get to live where the seasons
change and I get to behold all the beginnings...
and all the endings...and all the changes that
bring renewal to my heart and soul...love it!

I'm off for a few days ladies...
I'll catch up with you when I get back...
All my love to everyone!
