WELCOME ELLA MAE....(arms open, kisses ready for our newest grandbaby!)

We are grateful for Isaac's sister Tara...she is a fantastic photographer! For our daughter Lindsey, an awesome graphic designer, she designed Ella birth announcement! We are so thrilled to have this beautiful little girl join our family!
We thank Isaac and Tiffany for all they went through to bring this sweet daughter of God into the world! It was a lot to go through believe me...and then she was almost born in the car..(like me)..a little, "stop&drop" baby! We are so glad she is here..our 19th grandchild...she is not only a beauty, but she is SO sweet..hardly ever cry's..nurses so good..loves to be cuddled and hugged(I volunteer)...she has already brought so much peace, joy and love into their home...we all love her! She is being named after my Mom..her great grandma..how sweet is that!
Thank you God for babies...a sign that the world shall go on...what a privilege to be given the great trust of being a co-creator with our Heavenly Father! How did we get to be so blessed?!

FUN TIMES...missing my little grands~

I just have to have a picture of my little Ella Mae in this post...she is such a beauty!!!
While at the Myan...we orderded a chocolate eruption cake to share...Caleb was so excited, me too! It was SO nummy~

Tiffany and Isaac's first "Family picture" with little Ella. They took me to the Myan resturant...it was so much fun! They had cliff divers inside, they would dive off cliffs 45 feet high..it was really cool!
When I suggested to Caleb that he get into the dragon/snake's mouth so I could take his picture, he was a bit leery, but then he loved it!
This is sweet little "Ollie"...their 2nd poodle...I just love him!
Caleb wearing his Dad's police boots and riding his motorcycle (as he calls it!)
I told Caleb about Angel Moroni so as we walked around the temple and caught glimpses of him, Caleb would yell out; " Moroni..HI! " It was so cute...and when we got home, he talked about the temples and Moroni all the time!
The Oquirrh Temple...it was so tall and beautifull...I love temples, the houses of the Lord, every one!
Caleb reaching out to touch the Temple...I hope he always will.

They took me to see the Oquirrh, Jordan River, and the Draper Temples. All are so wonderful, the moment I stepped onto the trmple grounds, I could feel the spirit so strongly! I've felt that before at the Salt Lake Temple, but I thought it was just the difference of the city compared to the temple...it is much more than that...it is the spirit! I love the temples, I feel so blessed to serve in the Manti Temple. I was especially impressed with the Draper Temple...it looks like it sits right in God's pocket, nestled right in front of two tall mountains, plus it was just at sunset and the lights of the temple and the sunset were unbelievably beautiful!

The kids took me to Wheeler Park, a big old farm in Salt Lake. I used to take all my kids to it when we lived in Kaysville, it's a fun place for families. The geese and ducks were so tame!

I spent a lot of time playing with Caleb in his room...he lined these little friends up, then sat down by them...I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! We read everyone of his books, sang songs, got him sticking his stickers all over himself to keep him entertained. His dog Tucker even came in and played the piano...really!

I had such a fun time when I stayed at Isaac and Tiffany's. It was so fun to stay with my daughter, helping out with her little Caleb and the new baby Ella for 9 days..pure grandma heaven! They were good to me too...taking me out for dinner and to see the temples, and to Wheeler farm. I enjoyed it all...I'm so thankful to have daughters, they are truly best friends for life! I just know that we were friends in our premortal life. I feel so blessed to have them in my life and to share such bonding experiences with them. To see them be mothers, and especially to be mothers who value motherhood...their babies are blessed to have such a mother, especially in these last days. It's funny but it's true...you get your kids raised and you think it's all over, then you fall in love with your grandchildren, and start praying and worrying about them. I hope they'll all have strong testimonies and strong faith in their Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They will need to, to get through these, the last days. Praying for and loving them all.

IT'S ALL ABOUT ELLA...the highlight of my Summer!

The before and after pictures of my beautiful daughter Tiffany. The birth of her two children was like day and night...very long and hard with Caleb and a "stop & drop" (as the nurse called it) with the new baby Ella. Little Ella was born about 5 min. after they got to the hospital...very shocking...very wonderful! Tiff didn't even have time for any thing to be given to her...natural birth all the way!
I'm so proud of her, she's a wonderful mommie...everything is going very well, this baby is "pure angel"...she never cry's, nurses super well, is so huggable. We are so glad she's here, I can hardly wait to hear her call me grammy!
Tiffany suffered with such awfull sickness for 9 months..she deserves such an a little angel. I'm so glad she's got a daughter...a forever friend! I love you Tiffany!

Ella is here! This picture makes me think she is half way between there..and here. I can only imagine the excitment for her, as she was leaving Heaven to come to Earth..what must that be like?! Lots of hugs and kisses happening for sure!

WELCOME TO YOUR WORLD LITTLE ELLA...filled with family to love you!

I got a call late one evening, the guy on the other end said; "Get up here now!"...click...about 5 min. later, another call.."the babies here!..You'd better come now!" So, at 1:00 am, I jump in my car, heading for a 31/2 drive, arriving in Sandy at 3:30 am. On the way over the mountain ranges, I saw... elk, deer, white owls, a coyote, a cougar and a meteorite shower that looked more like fireworks! I thought, "What a night for a little girl to come to earth!" "She must be very special"...and she is! Welcome to the world little "Ella Mae Askeroth"...and to male it even more meaningfull, she is being given the name of MY dear mother, Ella Mae Lemon..how sweet is that?! I know how pleased my Mom is about that! And, I know they both must have a giggle about it too!
I got to spend 9 days with Tiffany, it was so wonderful..I felt so meloncoly driving home..missing them already!

Caleb, holding his little sis for the first time..taking it all in..he is so sweet with her..calling her; "Cawub's baby!"

A very proud and happy grandma and grandpa (OR) grammy and pankaw as caleb calls us! Welcome out 19th grandchild into the world...I pray that her earthly experience will be a good one! I know she will have a good home to grow up in, and that will give her a good start on life.

"How big are you, sweet little Ella Mae Askeroth?" "As big as my bunny rabbit!"

This makes me want to go back and be in those baby years again...I want more!

This baby looks right into your eyes and...she SMILES! I can't even begin to tell you "how sweet she is!"

Ella always holds her little hands in such a cute-femmie way, I just love that!

~NOW THIS IS LOVE~
~I made Ella this soft mink-like blanket..she looks so sweet on it~

It was fun to be at Tiffany's, she tried cute little outfits on Ella and we'd all stand around ooing and awing about how cute she looked.

Lisa, Tiff's older sister...I think holding babies makes women "baby hungry!"

~Lisa's Natalie and Brickelle..loving on little Ella~

Two of my beautiful daughters; Lisa and Tiffany...Lisa and her girls stopped in to see the new baby, it was fun to have them together..I love that!

I love little ruffles on baby girls bottoms, especially when they get to walking...Look at all that hair...SO cute!

She's playing..."I spy grandma"...Look at that sweet mouth!

My little Miss Strawberry...aren't her little arms just SO cute the way she holds them up...you just can't kiss this baby enough!

I'm sorry to be such a proud grandma..but.."aren't they cute?!

~ Little Ella...the most beautiful flower of summer~

~~~
I just have to tell this about Caleb...Tiffany was in Desert Book store and they'd walked past this painting by Greg Olsen..they turned around to see Caleb staring up at it for a full minute. Tiff said to him; "Do you like that picture?" and he said; "Jesus walking!" (Now the translation).. Caleb has a red polo shirt and pants just like this..he REALLY thought it was him and Jesus walking together, the little boy in the painting looks just like him! If we could all be so pure and sweet as a child!
SUMMER THINGS...oh how I love them all
Come with me for a Summer Time stroll...our son Darin took this of his children Britton and Megan..I just love this photo, they're even in step together!
A pony ride for Caleb at Gardners Village...Grandma along for the ride!
Megan..she found this snake in their roses bushes..she does not take after me, I hate snakes!
Climbing trees..a fun "to do" in summertime!
Little Emry...being very cute and patriotic!
We're waitting for Tiff's little girl to be born..any minute now...Isn't my sweet daughter beautiful?!
Our neighbor took this picture of a big bull elk...he's jumped into the back of their old farm truck to get some hay...WOW
~We love our country and love to fly our flags all through the month of July~
This mama bird has babies under our deck, every time I go out back, she fly's up onto the fence and keeps an eye in me, chirping at me if I get too close to her babies.
Can you see 2 little baby birds in this nest? Their mama built this nest right on the back of our house, underneath the deck. I love to watch her feed them~
I just love flowers, even in my house, this is a painting my uncle Orville had commisioned for his wife Mel...somehow I was lucky enough to inherit it!
Beautiful Petunias...make me smile
Roses just don't do very well here, but there's a wonderful lady friend of mine, she's 85 years old, her name is Remola Woolsey and she has a whole back yard of the most beautiful roses you'll ever see. I just love her and her roses!
Can't you just SMELL them?
~Nothing like a Rose~
We got two little parakeets this summer, Poppy and paisley. They bring alot of joy into my house...the cat loves them to as you can see!
~ Beautiful Fishlake, where record size fish get caught once in a while~
He swam out to visit a mama duck and her babies, I had to call him back~
WHAT A SWEET BABY FACE...love my Cougar!
Me and Cougar love the Fishlake trail, except when we walk into a moose!
I just can't get enough of this big old lodge at Fishlake, nothing like it anywhere
This is inside the Fishlake lodge...love these big old chairs
I LOVE to go to the Fishlake lodge, sit here by the window, look out the old wavy glass at the lke and have lunch. Or, in the evening, and look at the full moon over the lake...so awesome!
A darling baby donkey, just down the rode from me, everyone was stopping to take a picture of it~
The other day I was packed and ready to go...I looked around to see my little Bo sitting right by my things like;"Don't forget me!"
Oh, "The Dog Days of Summer"...I had to look at these twice...very cool work!
This is a very strange Summer...we've had lots of rain, about a week of HOT weather, fairly cool temps.,and lots of fun.
We are waiting for the birth of a new grandchild, our Tiffany is having a little girl any minute! We're so excited for that, I'll be going up to help out for a week...this equals Grandma Heaven!
Ron and I have been camping, riding our horses, taking little trips here and there, but not very far. It's still fun, sometimes a little get-a-way is just as fun as a big trip away.
I hope you are having a wonderful Summer, I am, I feel just like a kid...still love my Summers :D
