EASY BISQUICK TURKEY POT PIE
2 cans of cream of chicken soup

2 bags frozen vegetables
Combine all of this and pour into a
9x13 pan
Stir together:

1 1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
Pour over ingredients in pan.
Bake at 400' for 45 minutes.
You can half this recipe and put it
into a 9" pie plate also.

I have been gone for a few days...my husband was attending
a school in Calif. for his work, so I got to go play with some of
my littles.
Here Ella is doing a dentist visit...I wouldn't mind going to this

Sweet little Sophia and her broken arm...she is doing real good.
While I was there, she just up and pulled the cast off...me and her
mommy about died! Her daddy was braver than us and he got the
cast back on. Next morning she had a visit to the doctor and it is
healing just fine and will wear the cast for another couple of weeks.

had heard something and went into a ditch to check it out. I noticed
him sitting very still and not coming when I called, so I went to see what
what was going on. He wasn't moving so I moved him...he was sitting on
this tiny black kitten and she was hissing with everything she had! I had
gloves on so I picked her up and put her in my coat and brought her home.
I fed her from a dropper for a week, now she is bonded to only me.

if I was really such a fatty or if my mom just had me all
bundled up warm! I do remember that I was always wearing
a scarf over my ears because I was always getting ear aches.

I love the photos of your grandchildren! Especially the baby! And the recipe seems really good and easy. Never thought to try the bisquick! Glad you were able to spend some time with your children and grandchildren while your hubby was away!
I make a similar recipe. I use canned potatoes or fresh ones, green beans plus California Blend Veggies, cram of chicken soup, chicken and on the top quartered HUngry Jack Flakey Buscuits. It is yummy as well.
As usual I enjoy seeing all thos cute grandkids. My goodness what did those two get into. What a mess. The dentist visit looks scary. Okay, how did she pul off the cast and how in the world did her daddy get it back on.
I am all ready for Christmas and just going to enjoy the time left. It gets easier as the years go by.

Julie, I was always prone to ear aches too!!! I remember my mom putting the heating pad on my pillow and would have me lay there. It hurt so much then. My kids drank so much banana juice when they were small too, lol.

Gorgeous photos! I love the one of the tree and sunset. One thing...the pic of the 3 little ones watching a movie by the tree...I don't think one of them is Claire...she's so little. :-) It's great to see all of them and I can only imagine the fun of Christmas morning with them.

I adore that photo of you on Santa's lap. I also remember having to wear scarves to protect my ear-ache prone ears too. Definately from the 50's and early 60's I would say.
Your pictures of the little ones are just so delightful! You look so sweet,and a little bit pensive, sitting on Santa's lap.I don't remember ever doing this,but I guess my Mum must have taken me at some stage.

I use a similar recipe for turkey (chicken) pot pie, except I use cresant rolls over the top instead of bisquick. This is a favorite family recipe....so perfect on cold nights!
