SHARING THE LOVE....

This is so, so good!

CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE

For the crust:
1 stick butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup nuts
1 cup flower
Melt butter, add nuts, sugar, flour, mix.
Press into a 9x13 pan, Bake 350' for 12 min. cool.

Cream cheese layer:
1 80z. package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
8 0z. Cool whip (use 1/2 of it now)
Cream together and fold in the half cool whip.
Spread over cooled crust.

Mix:
1 3oz. package instant chocolate pudding
1 3oz. package instant vanilla pudding
with 2 1/2 cups of milk...spread over the top
of the cream cheese layer.

Top with the other half of the Cool Whip
Sprinkle with nuts and shavings of a
chocolate bar.
Eat up and enjoy!

Now this is the way to wind down the
day...Sophia, all relaxed and warm!

A little earlier she was all wound up and climbing like
a little mountain goat up.....

and down the play ground toys.

Do you want to see an angel?

Here she is, you just can't see her wings!
(yes, I have a lot of angels in my family!)

This one had just had her bath, love that
curly bath hair!

Grandma Julie reading a book to Sophia...
Can you tell that I am pointing to an elephant?
See her doing the elephant trunk thing.

Sophia and Ella, riding into the sunset like all good little cowgirls.

It's pure love...what else can be said?!

Speaking of pure love...my daughter Tiffany and her baby Claire.
Is there anything more beautiful than the love that fills a mothers
eyes? I don't think so.

Our sweet grands...Natalie and Brickelle with little brother Brody.

The other night my church held a special, annual women's conference.
One of the presidency of our church gave a talk and he spoke of 5 points
that we as women need to not forget, they are here above.

He also told us something cute...When God named the flowers, the little tiny
blue flower was last and it said..."Forget- me- not"... and thus it got it's name!

I love this and it is so true...look a child right in the eyes
today ladies and let them know that you respect and love them.

My husband and I watched this movie last night...
If you can get a hold of it do so, it is so good! You can
find it at a Desert Book Store.

Well, that is all I have for you today sisters...
And all my LOVE to each one of you, thank
you for being my sweet sisters and friends!

Sweet post! And that chocolate dessert is our favorite around here. We call it Fat Man's Delight. That's what the recipe was named in a cookbook I have. I've never added sugar to my crust though. I bet that's good too.

Sue said...

I think I have that recipe..Its truly sinful but so good.

Such a cute g-ma reading to your grands. That's one of my favorite things to do.

Could Claire look any cuter in her polka dots?

I loved President Uchdorph's talk as well. I knew when I heard his talk why I needed to be there at that meeting.

I'm RS president in my ward. We are having an activity in October. We are going to watch 17 miracles. Such a tear jerker with a powerful message. Can't wait for the other sisters to see it.

Julie...your chocolate cheesecake looks WONDERFUL..
Those babies all look MORE wonderful. So so cute.

I am wanting to learn a little more about the Mormon church as I am trying to learn more about some of our presidential hopfuls..Mr. Rommney, as you know, is Mormon and I just read that "because of his religion, he may not get as many votes" and this just sucked the breath right out of me. WHY would he not?? The main thing I would like to know...do you believe that Jesus Christ lived on Earth, died on the cross for our sins and that HE is now in Heaven and will return ?

Thanks so much...and love, bj
