COUGAR AND HIS KITTY...and... STORMS.

This sits out in front of our home and our cat Bobby
loves to use it as his scratching post.

Bobby also LOVES Cougar and I think Cougar loves Bobby
too. We had another little cat but she has disappeared, I
am betting a predator got her, makes me so sad.

Bobby was a poor little stray kitten that was at our motel
door a year or so ago. It was the middle of December and
he was nearly frozen and starved to death. I had never
heard a cat cry so loud! We brought him into our room
and home with us the next day.

Bobby was so sick for a couple of months, we thought he was
going to die, but he finally pulled trough. He sleeps with this
sweet Golden and they, as you can see are best friends.

Bobby misses the other little cat a lot, so he hangs out with Cougar
all the time now, it's pretty sweet to watch. Golden's are so good,
we have had about 6 now over the years and everyone of them have
let our kitties sleep right with them, sometimes right on top of them!

We have had rain storms it seems, all summer long!
And BIG ones too! We have only had maybe two weeks
of real Summer weather!

The sky will get real black....

Then just a wall of rain pouring down...

Fierce storms....the first crop of hay here was ruined.

I hope the farmers will get a second crop without it getting
rained on too.

It seems like the last three years, the weather
has just been crazy/different than I have seen
in a long time.

Hope it all calms down...it will be interesting to see what
Fall and winter bring.

Hi Julie, Cougar is a sweetie and real easy to love. I hope the other kitty turns up again, poor thing. Weather has been nuts and I am also wondering what kind of winter we will have. Heard it is supposed to be above average snowfall. Oh no. ;) xo

Love that kitty scratching post- hmmmm...maybe you could market those! lol You sure had your share of rain. Our state was declared a disaster because of NO rain. We lost hay and corn crops and 97% of the cherry crop. Awful- Blessings to you- xo Diana

oh...I am so sorry about your kitty. :-( We lost one of our kitties once, kept posters up for over 2 months, but never got him back...he was 11 years old. Our best kitty ever... I agree with you that it has been a very different summer across the states...if only you could have shared some of that rain with the Midwestern farmers...sigh... that's the way it is. :-) I am anticipating what this Winter will be like here, since it was SO mild last year. (so I am told by the Natives anyway) plenty of snow and deep freeze for me!!!!! (hugs to you) xoxo
