IT'S A GREAT TIME TO REMEMBER....

IT'S A GREAT TIME TO REMEMBER ALL THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN OF THEMSELVES TO UP HOLD OUR FREEDOMS....GOD BLESS EVERY ONE OF THEM.

I AM MARRIED TO ONE OF THOSE MEN...HE SERVED IN VIETNAM AS A MARINE. IT WAS A TOUGH TIME THEN, HE DOESN'T SPEAK MUCH ABOUT IT BUT I KNOW THAT HE IS JUST GRATEFUL THAT HE MADE IT OUT IN ONE PIECE. IT'S A TOUGH TIME NOW TOO...WE NEED TO LIVE IN GRATITUDE FOR EVERY ONE OF THESE MEN AND WOMEN WHO SO WILLINGLY SERVE US AND OUR GREAT COUNTRY...GOD BLESS THEM AND PLEASE GOD...BLESS AMERICA.

I have got a super busy week ahead of me dear friends, I am getting ready for a baby shower this coming Saturday for my youngest daughter Lindsey, she is having her first baby, a little girl in July.

I have a ton of things to do to get ready so I won't be around to visit this week, unless I get a moment to possibly squeeze it in?! ...I'll be missing all of you...I hope you will miss me LOL :D

I'll catch up to you as soon as I can...have a great week!

I love this picture, there are so many but this one is my favorite this year! Thank you to your husband for the service he gave in Viet Nam. Mine did not go as his number was 309. I can still remember sitting by the radio listening as then read off the number for each birthday.

I hope your week goes well. We have been up against the same thing trying to get our yard in order for Jim's retirement party in a few weeks.

I read your post on beauty about three times. I loved it and kept trying to get a comment in but kept getting interrupted. I could not agree more and I loved the Dove video. That should be required viewing for all girls even before they get to mutual. Thanks for all your kind comments Julie and you more than deserve a week off! I hope the shower goes well. I am sure it will!

Hugs, B

Hey Girl, It sounds like you are back to your old self and feeling fine, planning activities. I know what you mean there is always so much to do before a party. I was like a crazy woman last week...which I am sure you won't be, but I was trying to get a surprise party ready for my baby's graduation and other b'days. Wow that is cool that your hubby was a marine. I am so grateful for all of those that served and are now serving in our military! Here's hoping you have an easy and fun week!

Hello! That is a good kind of busy...baby showers are such fun. Baby shower game idea... Give each person a piece of bubble gum, chew, chew, chew, then take out of mouth and form a baby and let the mother to be judge who's is the best. We do this at every family baby shower. Lots of laughs. have a great week.

Congratulations on another grandchild! And thank-you to your husband for all those years he served in the Marines, during a tough time when many here at home were very unkind and cruel to our military men and women when they returned . Your husband has obviously been truly and generously blessed with a loving and wonderful family, and more a-coming!
