SWEETS OF ALL KINDS....

"CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE OREO BROWNIE BAR"

Make up 2 packages of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Mix,
Spread it into a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle 2 Cups Milk Chocolate chips
on top of cookie dough. Next lay out over chocolate chips,
1 whole package of Double Stuffed Oreos.

Now mix up 1 "Family size" Brownie mix...
to this mix, add; 1/4 cup Hot Fudge Topping.
Pour Brownie mix over the Oreos. Bake at 350' 45-55 min.
Serve a double stack if you dare, all warm with
vanilla ice cream and Hot Fudge sauce poured on top.

This will satisfy your sweet tooth for sure!
Now for some more sweets...

These little guys, Kelton and Brody, are two of our sweet little
grandsons. It was Brody's birthday here (in the red shirt) and
we went to celebrate with him. He sure was excited about it all.

I love it when they love their gifts from Grandma & Grandpa.

Blowing out the candles is ALWAYS exciting for them and for us too.

I think we missed Spring, so I don't know if what we have now is Summer or Spring, but it is so nice...finally! The last two years we have had the strangest weather, missing Spring with such very cold weather. I have to say though that since June came along, it has turned really nice.

This is the view out my front windows...fields full of horses, cattle and sheep, peacefully grazing and laying down together. The sound of sprinklers watering the fields. It's so nice to have June pay a visit and decide to finally stay and be nice to us...love it!

I have been gone for a few days to visit a couple of my children.
I was helping my daughter Lindsey hang pictures and decorate
their new home and another daughter to do a little landscaping.

The most fun of it for me is playing with my grandchildren. Here,
I had just given Sophia her bath and we were playing Boo games
with the mirror which always bring laughter!

We all went to the park for a picnic lunch...I just had to snap
this picture of Caleb and his sister Ella. He is always watching
out for her and she is a wild little pony, always running off. I
loved her in the skirt and her brothers old boots, such cute kids!

This is Caleb & Ella's dog Libby, she is a white Golden and she just
got shaved for the summer. She is patiently waiting for us to finish
our picnic so we can let her run and play in the water.

The kids had fun playing in the stream...it was really cold!

There has been a ton of snow in Utah this year and there
is so much melting and run off now, several places have
had problems with flooding.

It was a really nice warn day and Ella got into the water too.

It's is such a fun thing to talk to Ella because she does this...
If I say to her, "Ella, you can do good tricks!" She will say,
Ya, good tricks." If I say to her, Ella, I love you." She will say to
to me, "Ya, love you." If I say to her, "You are so pretty!" She
will say, "Ya, so pretty." I love talking with my sweet Ella Mae!

I was dipping Sophia's sweet little toes into the water a bit here.

I took a load of things down with me, along with my Golden,
Cougar. I had him shaved at this place, called the "Hitching Post."
This was the first time he has been shaved and he love it! Sweet!

This sweet little grand daughter is quite the homemaker.

She is teaching herself how to sew and has made several
pillowcases. She also likes to cook and makes up all kinds
of ways to do things. She made these very cute cupcakes, and
I thought they were very clever and cute! Way to go Brickelle!

Well there you go, a post full of sweets of all kinds.
I hope you enjoyed it...sweets are my favorite thing!

Have a great week my friends...sending you all my love!

Hi Julie,
Your grands are just darling! Aren't grandchildren just the most special things in all the world? I can clearly see that you think so!
I could live with the view out your front window, it must be very relaxing living there where you do. I am so glad for you that the good weather has finally arrived.
Thanks so much for these cake recipes! They both look amazing. I will make the cinnamon roll cake for my hubby in the near future.
I'm glad you liked the peanut butter sandwich cookies. They are the best thing I have made in a while.
Have a lovely evening, I am off to church.

Ya Julie, I loved this post! What a cutie! Our June is lovely compared to May. Did you have the big winds this past Monday? Brickelle is a very creative kitchen crafter. Lovely photos of lovely people enjoying life. Joni

Great photos of such cuties! Looks like you had fun and helped out!

Those are some over the top brownies! I was trying to think where I could serve those. Not here because the Sweetheart is diabetic and loves sweets this would put him a coma for sure :)

We have our cat shaved but the dogs are short haired. It makes so much sense.

Just darling GRANDchildren and such a blessing.

Cindy (Applestone Cottage) said...

You have such a great family Julie! I really do love seeing the pics, so many cuties and so many fun times!
I am glad your weather has warmed up...we had that cold spring too and then blasted hot! Just some 70's and 80's would make me happy!
And that dessert, oh my, no calories there I am sure!
LOL.

WEll, the sweetest part of your post for me was that picture of you and Baby girl playing Peek with the bath towel in the mirror! Don't you just love bathtime? Makes me kind of sad that our Baby E lives far enough away that we don't see him at bathtime often enough.

That desert is just decadent. I think the Devil made you post it here just to tempt us all to gluttony...just sayin'... xo Diana

I love reading about and seeing your grands. I so miss our little ones...they have all grown up...and waaay too fast. We have been so blessed with children and grandchildren...I should never be sorry for them growing up, should I.
Not really...just miss their LITTLE selves. :)

That cake would surely put us olden people in our grave too early...it sure does sound good, tho.

Is there really any GOOD reason that you felt it necessary to post a recipe that looked so absolutely delicious that I need to stop typing and go make it?

Totally love the pictures of your family. They are all so wonderful.

Wanda said...

What a delightful and uplifting post, Julie.

Your family is so beautiful, and the love just flows right through your pictures ~and right off my computer screen.

Thanks for sharing your happy moments.

BTW ~ can I borrow the picture of the hen and her chick on your side bar for my Daily Prayer Meditation. It reminded me of the verse, where Jesus said he would gather Isreal under his wings like a mother hen, but they would not.
I love that He used stories to teach us lessons.

Have a great day!

Your desserts are amazing, as always, and it seems your granddaughter has inherited your baking skills... her cuppie cakes are adorable!

Have a wonderful week! I'm in for another really hot day tomorrow ... it was over 90 in my classroom. We kept the lights off and listened to a book...
Looking forward to those cooler temps I see on the weather forecast!
Blessings always, enjoy your beautiful family*

Good morning, Julie!

Looks like you're having so much fun! Glad it FINALLY warmed up for you! Can't believe all the snow you've had this year! We've had way more rain than I remember in a long time--it never rains here in June, and we had a winter-like storm for a few days last week--unreal!

Thanks (I think!) for that recipe--looks so decadent!

Wishing you a wonderful day, dear friend!

Julie

Julie, thanks so much for the tip. I did find Liz Lemon, and the picture on your sidebar, but it was very small, however there was another one, with more chicks that was not copyright, and larger so I have my picture for the devotion I plan to write.

I think your daughter's idea of blocking people copying your pictures is very smart. I have 4 adult children, but only one is comfortable with me posting pictures.

Thanks again!

I am certain that the recipe for the Chocolat Chip Cookie Oreo Bar would satisfy any sweet tooth and probably add a few pounds to boot.

Hi Julie,
I love reading your posts and seeing the love that is there between you and your family. I love the photo of you and your grandchild after the bath playing peek-a-boo with the mirror. I remember doing that with both my sons...they always laughed right away to see themselves in the mirror. Looks like you have been having some wonderful times with the family. Thanks for the scrumptious looking recipe! The cupcakes your grand-daughter made look adorable, too! Looks like she is taking after you in the cooking dept. for sure! We are missing Spring here...late coming and is going to be quick to go. We had a longer rainy season than usual here. Happy to see some nice days! Have a beautiful day today. Tomorrow, (Fri) we go to pick up my younger son from college for the summer. Looking forward to having him home! xoxo Kim

Beautiful Grandbabes...don't you just feel joy everytime you have the opportunity to be with them? That chocolate stack of yumminess is putting weight on me just by looking at the picture...wow, that looks like you could just die with a big smile on your face. Love it. Sorry, I have not been able to comment the past couple of weeks...I've been visiting but unable to comment. Blogger has been more temprementail than usual lately. Drop by and see me when you have a chance.

Killer cupcakes! What talent - she will have to have a blog before we know it.

Those bars are pure sin - so of course I am going to have to make them! Wow, and double stacked too. Yum, yum.

The family is just adorable, how fun. Aren't grandchildren the greatest gift from God? I am always saying a little silent prayer of gratitude that I have had the opportunity to be a grandmother!
Have a great weekend and it is nice to be able to be back and comment as in Italy I couldn't get Blogger comments to work!

Well, if I made these, the family would all be so excited!! I believe they're all chocoholics.

The photos are great! It's so hot here...wayyy too early for these temps and humidity. Just miserable during the day and no fun to be outside. We barely go below 75' at night. Guess I shouldn't say anything though...we will be 85' + overnight soon. Enjoy your cool temps!
