SOPHIA'S BLESSING...and...FAMILY TIME

My daughters little baby Sophia was given a name and a blessing...

Sophia's daddy Michael, gave her a wonderful blessing through the
priesthood power which he holds. She was so good and so happy all
day long. She seems to really love special family days and parties.

I had to share this...Ella loves babies so much! I think it's something
we ladies come to the earth with. My daughters placed Sophia in Ella's
little doll stroller and Ella was in Heaven! She strolled her all around...
"mothering" her and loving it so much more than her doll.

Stopping for kisses as all good mommies do. I love
the look in both their faces...so precious! These
little cousins are 7 days short of a year in birth.

We all had a good couple of days together...
My daughter Lisa cuddling up with Sophia.

Caleb just wanted to follow his grandpa around...everywhere!
Outside as grandpa got tired from lizard hunting and lay down
on the grass to nap with Caleb still telling grandpa about where
the lizards are and how you catch one!

As they came in the house and took off their boots...
I watched as Caleb lined his right up with grandpa's...
Caleb wears his boots everywhere...just like grandpa!

Then grandpa went in and laid down on Caleb's bed to nap
since it was quieter in there...or so he thought...Grandpa's
little shadow followed him in there too and had lots of things
to talk to him about like...trucks and cars...he loves his car room.

Sweet sisters...Natalie and Brickelle...Lisa's daughters.
They are both growing up so fast and so beautiful too!

Then Ella joined in...I don't think grandpa got any shut-eye at all~

We stayed at a near by motel and the kids
and grand kids all came over to swim and play.

Sunday morning came and time to get the baby dressed...
I think all little girls look so cute surrounded by ruffles!

And they all have to have that special bow in back..so sweet!

And every little girl need darling shoes...it was so fun to dress her up.

Even she was grinning and laughing...such a happy little soul.

Daughters and mom's and new babies...
the best combination for great JOY~

Rushing..trying to get some quick pictures taken before
we head out the door for church. Right after the blessing,
Ron and I had to take off to catch our flight, so we didn't
get to stick around for the family dinner after the blessing...

And yes, I shed some tears about that but sometimes thats
just how things have to go. We were headed for Illinois for
a weeks vacation....in my next post I'll share more about that!

~Our daughter Lisa with her two beauties~
Like mother-like daughters.

This child had so much fun...she enjoyed
the whole day, what a little angel she is!

"The glory of all creation,
Is a baby dressed in white."

And it's easy to see why....she is LOVED beyond measure.
Thank you God for one more angel added to our family!

Ron and I had such a wonderful vacation, we enjoyed every
single day together...I'll share more next time...and I missed
so much all of you and your posts...I will try my best to catch
up with you! Sending you my love and friendship...always.

My, the girls in your family look alike (like you!) Little Sophia looks beautiful in her white Blessing dress. You have a lovely family!
Oh, the joys little ones bring to a family. I am the second youngest of eight kids, and our youngest son is the 19th grandchild on my side, and we have 18 greats so far. Lots of little ones to love.

So many beautiful children! What a blessing. Sounds like memories made which will last a lifetime. I just about cried when I saw the boots lined up. My dad had a stroke and my father in law died of cancer two years ago so my boys are unable to walk along side of a grandpa. Little things like that are taken for granted. Kudos to you for taking that great photo! Wishing you many more happy times with your family!

What a beautiful family you have! They take after mommy...:) Sweet photos...all of them!

I love how the grand kids followed grampa everywhere. Reminds me of my Richard, and our two grand kids. They give him a good work-out (me too)! Trying to rest is just an opportunity for them to jump "grampa" and have a little wrestle or tickle match! :)

Glad you are enjoying your vacation, you two deserve to have a joyous break together!
Sweet blessings to you and your family,

Love your idea to get a motel and have them over. Staying in crowded houses is tough. Having the pool would make the kids happy. A win/win! Good thinking, Julie!
