WINTER IN BEAUTIFUL UTAH...

UTAH...oh gorgeous Utah! Everywhere one goes here, there is beauty all around.

These pictures are from one end of the state to the other end. I got them off a local TV
station, they are submitted by people from all over our state....I hope you enjoy them!

We have many of these guys around where I live!

And many of these...

Zion is so full of beauty!

What do you spy with your little eye? I see a cougar in a tree!
There are many of these guys around here too!

And these, we have to be very careful as we
head over the mountain to Walmart! lol

This is called, "The Promised Land"....Zion's

St. George with snow, in the summer it gets
up to 11o there and is covered with palm trees!

The St. George Temple

"Queen's Garden"

"Thor's Hammer"

Oh, how I love the red rock that surrounds me with a bit of snow!

Devil's Garden

Snuggling for warmth

The Organ

Balanced Rock

Barn and Timpanogas

Frozen pines

Many buffalo in this state.

Beautiful hawk, I just love to see them.

Herd of elk, they are all over here.

Right here where I live we don't have a lot of snow yet, we seem to get ours in Jan. and Feb. Last year we didn't even get a spring, it just went right into summer and then our summer was so rainy nearly everyday we got rain. I am so hoping for a better deal this year!

Stay warm and cozy where ever you are!

Oh Julie, I've always loved Utah and these are fabulous photos showing its beauty. I'm so happy we have kiddos and "grands" living there so we can visit and enjoy your home state.

I so love Zion and Bryce! I thought Bryce Canyon NP was so pretty and the beauty of it touched me more than the Grand Canyon. My Mom and Dad went cross country twice in the 1980s. They loved Utah and its National Parks and took many wonderful videos of it.

Thank you for sharing beautiful Utah! I can relate to the pictures with the Deer. My Dad has them all around his back yard, it's so fun to visit it the winter. My kids love it!

Have a beautiful week!

Julie -- these are really wonderful pics of our state! I did hear about the snow in St. George recently -- it wasn't just a dusting either. Thanks for the eye candy. Joni

It just looks beautiful there. I hope someday we can visit that area. So you really have cougars walking around? Do you see them from your home? I would find that a little unsettling but still I would love to see them. Thanks for dropping by Julie and I hope your wrist is improving. Hugs, Deb=^..^=x5

Julie, the photos of Utah are breathtaking. wow...your homestate is absolutely beautiful with the ranges, the wildlife, the sky views..and the buildings. Thank you for sharing it all with us. I enjoyed seeing such beauty. Enjoyed visiting Utah today, and i wanted to say that I saw your little button to the right. I too, love Robert Duncan. His snowy print, "An April Storm" hangs in my family room and is a FAVORITE of mine. :-) :-)...LIKE his works.
Another similarity between us. :-)
Hugs to you dear bloggy sister. Enjoy the wintry beauty as you ENDURE the cold...Got snow and ice surrounding us here in NC!

Beautiful pictures, Julie! We have never lived in Utah but have toured the state on two different occasions. Once while we were stationed in Colorado and again while we were stationed in Arizona. It is a beautiful state...I do miss living in the west and all that beauty and the big, big skies.
Hope you are having a wonderful week and letting your hands rest a little.
Fondly,
Ann

Utah is beautiful year 'round. We lived in Grand Junction, CO in the late 80's and early 90's. We were members of a church in Cortez, CO ...about four hours away by car. To avoid the high passes, our route took us through Moab, UT where we would stop for breakfast and the kids would change into their church clothes. We got to church around 10am, stayed for lunch and were home around 6pm on Sundays. Those were blessed times for my family. The scenery on the drive was magnificent. Utah is beautiful place in any season.

Beautiful photos of your Utah and the wildlife. Are you familiar with your Utah artist, Kathryn Stats? If not, you should Google her. I love her work, and she paints Utah landscapes all the time. She's an amazing artist! My friend went to one of her workshops - perhaps I'll get to go one of these days! Greenhouse Gallery in Dallas sells her work around our area. Anyway, you'll love her work, too! Have a wonderful week, sweet lady!

We do live in a beautful state don't we. We've had both elk and deer in our hay stacks. The Mr had to get his fence back up. It's like having heard of cows tromple it....But I worry for them,(elk and deer) there is a lot of winter left yet. ( I also think about that cougar that's around) Bitter cold here still.
You stay warm and cozy too.

Talking about it on my blog.
I am a finalist to the Winter Wonderland on Chictopia and it is SO a surprise !
Could you vote for me on Facebook and tell your friends to vote too.
My outfit is modest. I wear leggings and it would mean so much to me because there is not a lot of girl out there in the fashion world who wear modest clothes. I am one of the few on Chictopia!
