My daughter Lindsey graduated in graphic design, so she designed this sweetbirthday party invitation for her her darling daughter Sophia who is now one.
"Hey Miss Sophia, did you know today is your birthday?""Well grandma, I am ONE you know and mommie has got
a big party planned...shhh, don't tell her I know about it!"
"I can hardly wait for all my friends to come and all the giftsand the cake! I saw the cake grandma... and it is so big & pretty!"
"Lets get this party started!""Yay for me, I am going to love being ONE."
Making her grand entrance into her party...is Miss Sophia...all dressed up and ready to

They had the back yard all set up with all kinds of water playand all the little kids just loved it all. Perfect for a hot day!
A shady place for the parents to hang out and watch the kids play.
"MY wadding pool sure has a lot of people in it!"
"Look grandma, this ball is as big as me!"
"See how BIG I am now that I am ONE!"
This was the cutest cake with a owl on it to match the invitations.Lindsey's friend made it, she has just begun to make cakes so I was
really impressed how perfect it was. The frosting was so good too!
"See how big I am...I know how to blow out the candle!"
"I am just not sure what to do next"....
"Ella says I should just dig in!"
"OK, here I go"...
"You have a bite first dad!"
"OK, but don't mess up my face!"
"This is what I like...present time!"
"This doll grandma gave me is cute!"

"Get Ella some cake will you please?""Yes, I have been waiting and waiting!"
Ella was so serious about her butterfly wings...I think that she really thought that she was now a butterfly!
"Now I am officially ONE...yes I am and next I will learnto say "NO" perfectly! Mom will be so amazed!" (he he)
Ella's birthday was one week later and grandma gave herher very own little couch. It has all the princesses on it,
including her!
This is how all princesses lay on their couches you know.Do you think she likes it? ;D
I went to lunch with my daughter and her husband and therewas a cute gift shop there too, Caleb and Ella loved this BIG bear.

Sophia loves Jesus...her mom and dad took her to a beautifulplace full of pictures of Jesus Christ and she loved it so much.

Guess what we got...a 2012 Volkswagon JettaIt is a deisel car and gets 48-50 miles per gallon...
that ought to get us through the up and down prices
of gas! We really love it, it is built solid as a little drum.
Let's see now, where can I go!

I've been looking at the diesel Jetta also! I need something to run up and down Parley's that is less expensive than my truck and since my truck is a diesel, I figure I need a diesel car so I don't get confused and put gasoline in my truck or diesel in my gasoline car!
