ONE YEAR OLD ELLA MAE....

Our little grand daughter Ella turned one year old this month...
One year is quite a milestone so I want to record that for my book.

A lady bug birthday party was held for her...
the following pictures are some of my favorites
of her first year on earth...we are so happy to
have her in our family, we love her very much!

~Little Ella Mae...named after my mom~

I so love her eyes...they tell a beautiful story!

Those eyes again...they sure capture our hearts~

Wish I looked this cute in a swim suit!

The vintage baby look~

Those eyes again...WOW!

These two pictures are of me as a one year old.

I made Ella's little Lady Bug Birthday Party dress.

She loved it... and she looks so cute in it!

The cup cakes for her Birthday party...
made by Ella's neighbor (http://www.cakesbypatrice.blogsot.com)

OOH...A CAKE JUST FOR ME?!

"It has a bug in it... are you sure it's ok to just dig in?!"

"Ha Ha...How's that?!"

"Ok, ok,....I know, I need a bath...but it was so good!"

"Saying good bye to my silly grandma...she loves me SO SO much!"

And I do for sure...We had so much fun at Ella's birthday party.
Her mommie had really made everything very nice and they had
so many friends and family there to celebrate Ella.
One year old's are something to celebrate... for sure!

Julie I love visiting your blog because I can tell just how much your family means to you and how these little ones have planted themselves right in the middle of your heart.
Ella is so adorable and her eyes really are beautiful and big.
The ladybug party is so cute - the little dress, the cupcakes are perfect. I love that she got to have her very own cake to make a mess with.
Happy Birthday to your Ella!

She's a beautiful little one year old!

Thanks for stopping by. I've seen the soap dispenser mason jars as well, and I would love to make one. I have the pump piece saved but I'm having trouble finding the solid metal lids. Mine are all zinc and glass top combos.

I don't think my first post went through.
The pictures are just the cutest. The first one makes my heart melt. The one in the suit.....well that's what I look like in a bathing suit and it isn't pretty. She carries it off well. You even dressed with the theme.
Absolutely adorable.

Hello Julie. I have been following your sweet blog for awhile, now, and love all the things that I am learning from you. Our oldest daughter had a baby girl, (our first grandchild) in July. It has been a wonderful celebration of life and family love, for us all. I dearly love your sewing. The little dresses you are making are not only adorable, but, made with "Grandma Love". Can you tell us all how you are making these cute dresses? I would really like to make some for my grand daughter, too.
Thanks for the upliftment and happiness found on your blog. You are really something else. Love ya Sister.

Thanks so much for sharing these incredibly beautiful photos! This little girl has such gorgeous, wise eyes.

Ella is a dorable s is her grandma. You look so much alike at the same age. Her Lady Bug party looked like a wonderful success and such a darling idea. Her cupcakes, dress and smile was so cute. This year has gone so fast.
We have a little grandson turning 1 next week.
I read your last post and it would be weird to visit others who live in the home your lived in for so long and loved. You never know when (and how often) you plant a seed (or perhaps a bulb) of the beauty of miracles which will come...sometimes even much later than desired...
I feel you plant many seeds of love, hope and friendship with each post you share. Your beautiful spirit always shines through. ~♥
