FALL IS CINNAMON SUGAR SWEET....

~WELCOME TO FALL~

I am so glad it's here....
it's warmer right now than
it has been all summer long
and I am loving every moment
of this awesome Fall weather!

Usually the Fall's here are long and warm
but this has been such a weird year of weather,
I am not sure this will last but I'm so hoping
that it will.
I love the change of colors that covers
the mountains, fields and trees. We are headed out
for a horse ride in the mountains today, can't wait!

I have been decorating my home with a bit of Fall touches.

This sits on my dinning room table...love it!

Up on the fireplace mantel it's filled with all the Fall colors too.

Come on into my kitchen...I'm baking something that I love....but I'll share it with you!

" APPLE CINNAMON MUFFINS"

Combine:

13/4 Cup of flour
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

Mix to combine

Make a hole in the middle...
Add: 1/3 Cup of Oil
1 Egg

Beat the egg, mix into
the flour mixture.

Add: 3/4 Cup White Sugar
and 3/4 Cup Milk

Chop up 2 apples..add in

Stir all to combine only.

Put into a sprayed muffin tin
Bake 350* for 15-20 min.

Topping
1/4 Cup Melted Butter

1/3 Cup White Sugar
1 T. Cinnamon
(Mix these two together)

When muffin comes from the oven,
dump them out of the pans.

Dip muffins in the melted butter,
then into the sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Let cool...then ENJOY!

YUMMY INSIDES....

YUMMY OUTSIDES....

This is my kind of muffin...kind of like a yummy
sugar cinnamon doughnut.

You can also drizzle these with a
powdered sugar glaze if you
are need of a real sugar fix!

Here's my Sugar Fix
Sophia having a chat with
her doggie Charlie Brown.

And here's another one of her sweet
smiles...I'll even share it with you!

Have a great day my friends...
get out there and enjoy this
gorgeous time of year!

For us,
the snow will be here before we
can say...HAPPY FALL TO YOU ALL.

Yum, Thanks for sharing the muffins. Sophia is a doll! Here in south Texas, it still feels like summer, although we have been getting lots of rain. Too much for one time! My yard is full of puddles of water. The mosquitoes are huge too!

Lorilee

Those muffins look delicious, but if I made 'em I'd have to eat them all. Husband doesn't like stuff like that. (He's weird.) Love the Sophia and CB pic. She's growing. Here in AZ we haven't seen much of fall weather yet. It's still 108. And we'll most likely not see any snow down in southern AZ. But Flagstaff has some. I look at pictures. That's enough. Love your posts. Enjoy the horse back ride.

Happy Fall to you. I started to decorate. With the warm temps during the day it doesn't seem like fall.
But the nights are cooler and I love it.

Now that picture of Sophie and Charlie
Brown should be entered in a contest. It is the cutest picture ever. That look on her face. Wonder what her little mind was thinking. She is precious, so is Charlie
Brown. ((((HUGS))))

Wow, you trees are really fall. I just saw the first sign of fall in our mountains in the Bountiful area. Fall is my very favorite season. My house is decorated with fall colors, but I've done a few extra things to work up to Thanksgiving. You always make my mouth water with you home-made goodies.

I will be in Ephriam Sat. October 9th.

Have a great week!
