I HAVE BEEN PLAYING....

I'm sorry to have been gone so long but I have been playing!
Doing very important stuff like...hanging out with my grands.

And I do mean "hanging out"...look at that little belly,
no, not mine, Sophia's! She loves hanging out like this!

Here she is in one of the little dresses I made for her... always smiling!

I spent three days just having fun with two of my daughters
and their little ones...playing and going out to eat and shopping.

I had so much fun that I was a bit blue when
I came home...I love being with them all.

This is what we gave this little guy for his 3 year old birthday.
He couldn't have been happier...and where did he go with it?

Out to take it for a ride in the dirt and rocks....doing those jumps!

His little sister Ella...what a hoot she is! A little girl that
loves to be in the dog kennel and everything else!

While I was there, their daddy surprised them by
bringing home a English Golden Retriever puppy!

Her name is...Lady Liberty Belle...because she was born in July.
She will be really light/white...she is so so sweet!

Ella...posing for grandma's pictures with those sticky pumpkins!

She is such a cuddly little sweetheart!

Caleb in his birthday helmet sitting on daddy's car.

Our sweet little butterfly Sophia, we sure do love her!

I love babies in this color blue...and her eyes look
like they are going to be blue too...such a darling!

Sophia is always talking and laughing and smiling...a real angel!

Can you stand more Autumn pictures?

Ron and I went for a ride up into the mountains
to get some more of that wonderful Fall
feeling and a big bunch of leaves for the house!

We took Zak...Bo...Cougar along with us,
they had so much fun. They love it when
we take them along too!

It was so magnificent! It just took our breath away at every turn in the road!

It makes me feel like a kid again to just drive along
and smell, look and feel the beauty in the mountains!

I feel so close to God when I am out in his world...
taking it all in, loving and appreciating all the beauty
that he designed for us as we live our life here on his earth.

I just could not get enough of the colors....

Glorious colors that will soon be gone...
they are such a gift to my spirit..love it!

So, that's where I have been...

I have missed all of you so very
much and I will try to catch up
with all your posts as much as I can.

~Happy Fall to All~

Julie,

I just loved going down through your shared thoughts, your SWEET babies... your love-filled days, and your beautiful part of the country...Made me relax for a few moments as we are trying to make plans here for Justin's return, and keep having times and days changed at the LAST minute. Makes for some incredible scrambling with our plans and reservations, and jobs.... Your hubby was (is) a Marine. He knows...Semper Gumby...arrghh..Trusting God....Trusting God ...Trusting God... to work all things for good.... Love and hugs. xoxoxox Loved visiting with you.

Such sweet angels...all of them! Just cutie pies. And the drive? Fantastic! We love driving in the country around here, too. But the weather is just now turning cooler, so we don't have any fall leaves yet! Soon I hope. Have a good week!

You have such precious grandchildren and Sophia is growing so fast. She is cute as a button. I am so jealous of the glorious fall color you have. We don't have those yellow trees here and we are still green. Just a few leaves on the poplar trees are turning and some of my maple trees are dropping their leaves. I wish they would stay on the tree and get the deep red that they are supposed too.

O, I've thought so much about you and your girls and boys. I know you loved being with them...and that it was hard to come back home. Won't be long til you see them again, I'll bet.

All the kids are just precious...and you, my dear, are a beautiful granny.

The color change is awesome. It isn't happening here in West Texas yet...still in high 80's...cooler at night and early morning, tho.
Take care and get all rested up...
