Have you noticed? FALL....is here!
Our temps have dropped and that crisp chill is in the morning
air and I am loving it! How about you?
Since we had such a tiny bit of Summer, I am so hoping for a
nice, long, warm Fall. I have decorated my home for Fall and
everything looks good and smells so wonderful. I thought I would
share a simple recipe with you today....perfect for Fall.

Hi Julie,
I can't believe how much that baby has grown already! Their both so adorable! And I hope you get your long warm Autumn. We had a very warm summer this year but last year was cool so I know just how you feel.
And congrats to Natasha!
Hugs,
Cindy
Congrats to your winner! I'm out visiting blogs. Your home is stunning. We love Apple Crisp here also, I could never get away with making it for 2. I usually call my adult kids and its gone within the day.

Wow, Julie, thank you so very much! I love your gorgeous aprons and now I am going to have one of my very own...YAY!!! I will email you right now.
Thanks also for the yummy recipe. I love apple crisps (we call them apple crumbles over here) and they are indeed very "dangerous" when there are leftovers!
Hope the rest of the week is lovely and thanks so much again.
Best wishes,
Natasha.

Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Julie, the photo of the fallen leaf is gorgeous and what fall is all about for me!
Love the Apple crisp for two! I know most folks just love the summertime, but autumn excites my heart with its cooler temps, beautiful colors and wonderful foods and smells! Enjoy a bite for me, sweet girl.
Oh my, the family resemblance between the two cousins is uncanny!! They could be brother and sister!!

Thanks for the recipe. I will surely try that next weekend. It's apple season here so I am happy to have a new recipe to try. I'm loving the Fall air too and look forward to all the Fall season posts. Your grandchildren are all so adorable. Congratulations to the winner of your lovely apron. Hugs, Deb =^..^=x5

How cute are those little babies. The birthday boy looks so happy. Being a Grammy is so wonderful, isn't it.
Julie,
I love Autumn... It is so wonderful and cool after the long hot summers. The bright colors of the leaves seem like they are splashed across the clear Carolina Blue skies when I look up in my tree surrounded yard, and then they fall and make a beautiful new carpet in my yard.
Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. Your babies are certainly something you should be braggin' about ...too cute!!! :-) Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement. WE are on Cloud Nine that Justin is out of the war zone. Grateful!! Hugs to you. God bless!
That recipe sounds fantastic...that type of topping is my favorite!! :)
Did you take that picture of that leaf???? It is stunning - totally worthy of framing! I am so loving the cooler temps too ... especially the cool nights. And the smells of fall ... LoVe.
Your grandbabies are absolutely adorable! What fun to have cousins so close in age. I had one only 8 days younger than me and it was great fun for us! :)
Congratulations Natashia!
Happy Birthday to Caleb, love the cake! Did you make it? Your two other grandbabies look so much alike, so adorable! Apple crisp, wow looks so yummy. We were at a friend's house this past weekend and they made us some for dessert. It's the time of year for baking lots of yummy treats!
Blessings,
Jill
Julie-that leaf picture is absolutely awesome! Seriously great!
I love the apple crisp for 2 (I'll probably eat both but don't tell anyone)...and those babies are sooo darned cute. Our BabyE just finally quit sticking his tongue out..I was beginning to think it was hinged to the front of his lip-lol
Congrats to Natasha on winning the apron! Hugs- Diana

When I am not dieting anymore I am going to make your apple crumble- looks delicious!
Hi my friend, I'm so sad that I didn't win your apron. I'm going to make your apple crisp for my hubby.
I am going to Ephraim with my daughter, granddaughter, mother, niece - her daughters, and my sister-in-law on Sat. October 9th. I missed our Allred mother/daughter reunion while I was in the hospital, but I want to go before winter.
hugs
cindy@stitches
Love the pictures of your grandchildren Julie! How alike they look!! I love apple crisp. I may make this for Todd and I, as I don't like to have these things hanging around too long and this seems the perfect size! Have a great Thursday!! xxoo

What cute little grands you have! They really could be siblings instead of cousins...
Awww...makes this grandmother's morning to see those little cuties!
Hi Julie,
Thanks for sharing your recipe, it looks SO yummy!
Your little grand babies look like twins! It is amazing how cousins can look so much alike. Adorable!!

p.s. thank you for the sweet bday greeting...:)
congrats to Natasha. You've got such a cute family Julie. The apple tarts look great. I love this time of year.
What a cute birthday cake....it is great...
Congrats to the winner.....
My little sweetpea used to stick her tongue out all of the time, it was so cute!
Your Grandchildren are growing so quickly. I do think the grandchildren grow far more quickly than their parents, our children. What's up with that? The two little cousins look very much like siblings in the side by side photos.
Apple crisp and Autumn seem to go together,. I can't wait to decorate my dining room for Fall, maybe this afternoon!
Congratulations to the winner~
I love the picture of the leaf...that is amazing! Your babies are beautiful! The recipe looks so yummy! I love apple crisp!!
Happy Fall!

Your grands are just so precious and I thought it was the same baby

Is he the Caleb in the baby photo or do you have 2 Calebs?
I am going to try the apple crisp for 2. We have the same problem with a big one.
Have a nice day.
Hi Julie,
Those are fake little acorns I found at Wal-Mart in a little bag for $3. Check it out if you have one nearby.
Hugs,
Cindy
Hi Julie, I too am so glad that fall is this close , and am so looking forward to decorating too.
Your grand children are adorable!!!
Thank you for sharing the apple crisp for two. I have been wanting a recipe like this, for the simple reason, if there is a whole pie around I eat more than my share. lol.And a big Happy Birthday to Caleb! love the smile!
Congratulations to Natasha, I will visit her blog.
As always I am blessed when I visit.
Hugs,
Sue

Hi Julie:
Rae-Rae is happy to let you know that she picked your name for our first give-away. Congratulations, Julie. Please send me your mailing address so I can send you your gifts. Hugs, Deb =^..^=x5
Julie.. oh those pictures are precious. and the one of Caleb putting on that helmet,, that smile is priceless..
Grand kids are just so awesome.. I used to hear my mom say that about her grand kids,,but I never really understood the depth of what she was saying until I had some of my own..
Thanks for sharing..
Have a blessed day my friend..
Hi Julie! Oh, I thought you had posted something new! Not that I don't like this! I'll just say "hi"! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
That apple crisp looks devine. I'll have to try it with peaches too...heehee.
My grandmother used to use a crumble topping that included a yellow cake mix and butter...that's it. She would cut the butter into the cake mix, then sprinkle it on the top of peaches or apples, etc...I've tried to duplicate it, but I'm obviously not getting measurements correct because mine is not turning out right. DARN! I can't find the recipe either. It is one of those recipes that seem so simple that writing it down isn't necessary and anyone could do it. Then along comes me. That's where the trouble starts.
The babies look so much alike. I think it's the eyes and cheecks. I was actually thinking it was the same baby and that the photo on the right was a little bit older with a lot more hair.
Delicious and Precious post, Julie. Natasha is a lovely lady indeed, congratulations!
Wishing you the loveliest of weekends. xxxxx
I am soooo going to make that apple dessert for hubs and me....
Oh your two little babes are just precious!
Congrats to Natasha & thanks Julie, the apple crisp looks yummy, perfect for a fall evening:)
Julie Fall will be here Tuesday and I am giddy at the thought! Bring on the Apples!!
Those babies are just the most darling little children - How cute that they stick out their tongues like that - and that they do it on cue for pictures!!
You are such a lucky lady with a beautiful family :)
Oh Julie,
I just made an apple crisp today, as I knew my son was stopping by for a visit...This, for me, is such a fall treat. I will have to dig out the bread machine too...time for a few cinnamon buns...happy weekend dearest
.............love Rosie.............
Sophia and Caleb are just too cute :)
Yummy apple crumble, one of my favourites.
Congratulations Natasha...I'll go check out her blog. She lies in my neck of the woods.
Happy weekend x
They are just adorable!
It does feel like fall in the mornings around here but by afternoon we're back in the 90's!
I often make crisps for two also. We'd eat a whole big pan of it if I made it so the little ones are better for us. I make up a bunch of crisp topping and keep it in the freezer. That way I can just cut up the apples and sprinkle. I can even make just one!
Manuela
Hi Julie, I'm having difficulty leaving a comment on your posts so will try this one for all! :-) I love your decor as well as the recipes. Either or both of those with a cup of coffee sounds great!
Do you have 2 Caleb's or is the baby pic just an earlier one of him? Regardless, both are totally adorable and I love their tongues sticking out...so cute. I adore your family values...and wish that way of believing and living was more prevalent. Some kids I see are rarely with their parents and it makes me so sad.
Hope you enjoy your weekend and yay for fall!
xoxo
