A VERY GOOD FEW DAYS....

We had some of our kids come these past few
days and we have been having so much fun!

We went for a picnic here at this beautiful place...
Capitol Reef National Park. It is about 15 minutes
from our home, so this awesome beauty is easy access.

I have not been to a more beautiful place, I can spend all day
here on a blanket reading or exploring and taking pictures.

We took a big airplane and they had fun throwing it and watching it glide.

We played in the water under the bridge, the little ones loved it
and so did their pregnant mommy! It felt perfectly cool!

Ella sliding off the rock into dad's arms and into the river, she was so brave!

It was a great way to cool off and Caleb and Ella had so much fun with their dad.

Caleb loved sneaking up on the deer...

and he got right up to them for a... "hello friend!"

Caleb loved putting on grandpa's hat and cowboy boots!
He said that he was cowboy grandpa!

The k ids loved swinging from the old tree down by the fire pit...

and they were good and took turns too.

When our kids come to visit, it is quite the managery! Everyone has
about 3 dogs, so it is one load house full!

We went fishing...Caleb, holding a fresh worm...awesome!

Fishing by grandpa...Caleb has the right stance going here, waiting for that big fish!

Dad and son standing out in the middle of the river.
Kids with such dad's are so blessed.

Caleb and Ella wanted to be right at their dad's side as he fished.

On our deck out back...this trike is a decoration but Ella just knew she could ride it!

I loved her cute little hot pink swim suit, and she was a bit unsure about that thing!

Daddy flying kites for the kids...he had more fun than they did I think.

Ron and Isaac took Caleb for a short ride before heading out on their ride.

Caleb loved being way up there sitting in the saddle, feeling the movement of the horse.

Grandpa and dad headed up to the mountains for a ride.
Going to look at some old Indian caves.

We are having fun watching the hummingbirds, are you?

Oh boy! The water is cold...but fun.

Ella, loved the hot tub....

And so did her brother.

And, Shelia...here is one just for you...
Grandma Julie and her little cowgirl Ella!

I will be catching up with all of you by tomorrow...
Life is very busy right now with getting our place
up for sale...more on that next post, I promise!

LOVE TO EACH OF YOU
And...HAVE A GREAT 4TH OF JULY!

Julie -- Capitol Reef National Park is such a treasure and totally gets upstaged by Bryce and Zion's, but maybe that's a good thing to keep it a secret (hey you just broke the little secret). Looks like a lot of fun! Joni

Little ones with their dad (and grand dad)... doesn't it just warm your heart. Men being leaders and loving their kids :)

Great photos!

Beautiful photographs, as always. I know you are happy-sad to be putting your home up for sale. Happy because you are following what the Lord has put on your heart, but a little sad to leave such a beautiful place. There is always a blessing in obedience though and if mission work is what you both feel lead to do, that's what you need to do.

Would any of the kids be able and interested in buying the place? Wouldn't that be wonderful!?

I want to sell our house in town, too, and move into something MUCH smaller, get rid of EVERYthing we don't really need. I keep looking at all the little houses on COZY LITTLE HOUSE and dream about having one on a small lake. *heavy sigh
