SIX DAYS OF HEAVEN....

Our family had such a great few days together. They started coming on Wednesday evening and the last ones left last night! I have been putting Thanksgiving away...cleaning house...putting Christmas up, listening to Christmas music all day. I am so tired but it's a good tired, it was SO wonderful to have a house full at this time of year...love all my family so very much!

Me and some of my daughters and daughter in laws...we talked of planning a girls get-a-way this coming spring...that will be fun!

Some of us gathering for dinner...Ron's Mom joined us, she is 97 beautiful years old!

~An after dinner nap always feels so good~

~Hours of fun crafts for the grand kids after dinner~

~Little Pool Sharks...Natalie, Stetson, Cloe and Brickelle~

~Little boy cousins are so cute...Caleb..Kelton..and Brody~

~It's SO fun to have a baby in a family...nothing like it!~

~Nothing feels as sweet as a little baby after her bath~

~Baby Ella, all bathed and smelling SO sweet!~

~My daughter Lindsey shooting their Christmas tree down...(her husbands family tradition)~

~All of us, and our dogs, out in the mountains to cut a Christmas tree!~

~Natalie and Cougar...she loves animals!

~Brody and Emry...."hiding"~

~Grand kids making a fort under the pool table~

~Brickelle cuddling with little Ella~

~Cloe and Emry watching cartoons in my bedroom chair~

~Caleb playing peek a BOO with me while I was getting ready ~

~Caleb in his "New Pepsi" shoes~

Grandma Julie and little Ella Mae

Our kids started coming last Wednesday and the last ones left last night.
We had SO much fun, we ate...laughed...played games...watched movies...played pool...cut Christmas trees...shot guns...hiked...talked and laughed...made crafts...the grands ran and screamed through the house...played in the hot tub...hugged...ate and ate some more...

AND so many more moments of family fun that ties us all together with LOVE for this life and the life to come because, " FAMILIES ARE FOREVER "...Thank you God for families!

Oh, it looks like you had soooo much fun. I can't decide which picture I like the best. New clean baby smell or pepsi shoes!
I love that you shoot your trees down. I may have to do some research on that to see how successful it is.
Loved your post.
I had a similar weekend, but had to work in the ER the last two days. Two very long 12 hour shifts....so tomorrow I'm putting on the housework hat and I'm going to clean THEN the best part....decorate!
I love the holidays too.

Julie, what a special treat you just shared with us...there is no way I could pick a favorite photo or moment because they are ALL just precious, funny, special, and I got the giggles...and the new grandbaby in 2010 yippee and what a neat way to announce. And how awesome grandma 97 was there to enjoy her posterity.
Well, you will have plenty to ponder as you take your daily walks wont you?
Thanks so much for sharing your families Thanksgiving.

Julie, I so loved reading and seeing you and your precious family!
They are all so adorable and HAPPY. Sweet baby Ella is just a bundle of joy and and so soft waiting for grandma's kisses. Our baby Archie is almost three months and he was so fun and I couldn't get enough of those sweet cuddles and kisses. They grow way too fast. I bet the trees smell so yummy. I have fond memories as akid when we would go and cut down a tree. You are still providing those memories for your family!
Yes, I too am so thankful for families and that Families are forever!

Julie, thanks for stopping by; thanksgiving was hectic and now I spend the last week before thanksgiving decorating. OVER the weekend I blowed my back out again. I had injections last Feb. and now it's out again. I have been in bed or couch flat on my back. The doctor can not get me in until Jan 4th. I am waiting now for her to call for some steriod pills and pain medicine. The medicine I'm on is not easing enough for me to get around. Hope all is well with you and your family. My camera was broke also.
