VALENTINES DAY... it's right around the corner!.

OK...I'm getting bored with January now...time to get thinking about VALENTINES DAY....a time that I LOVE so much! I LOVE to give Valentines and I LOVE to receive them. I LOVE to bake cookies and Valentine goodies and give them away. Are you starting to think about this holiday of LOVE too? Well then lets get on with it already...LOVE IS IN THE AIR~~~

Get those aprons off the hooks ladies and lets get busy....

I love to bake big, soft sugar cookies and decorate them...do you?
Well, lets get on it then....

Time to get that pretty pink out and start wearing it...Oh, we all look so pretty in pink!

Now remember who you are....You are the QUEEN of LOVE...So good at giving LOVE to all around you and you deserve LOVE too...Get out there in your little world and start spreading the LOVE ~

Here's a fun and simple treat anyone can do...hope you'll find lots of people to give it to!
These would be easy and fun for kids to do for their teachers too!

This is a cute idea for your favorite sweetheart and it's super easy!

Take 1 package of Nestle`Toll House Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar Dough...Place the whole bar in a prepared pan. Allow to soften for 5-10 minutes, Using fingertips, pat dough gently to cover bottom of a 9 inch heart-shaped pan.
Place in a 350* oven that has been pre-heated. Bake for 17-19 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan or on wire rack for 10 min.; remove to wire rack to cool completely.

Now take 1/2 cup of chocolate chips in a small bowl and melt in microwave, stirring every 15 seconds til melted and smooth. Spread over cookie to within 1 inch of edge. Or you can decorate as desired. ENJOY it together!
This big, frosted cookie is a perfect way to show appreciation for a teacher, coach, friend or those you love most.

I hope you are getting excited for the LOVE DAY

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Spread the love...
It will come back to you!

Sending all my LOVE to all of you!

(this is a post from last year, I've added to it..enjoy) AND ( go over to... bloomingonbainbridge.blogspot.com she's having a Pink Party all next week!)

I am just finally getting the Christmas decor put away and instead of redoing my vignettes in a winter theme I was also tempted to just skip right to Valentine's decor. After seeing your post, I think I will just go for it. <3 <3 <3

Not having any breakfast yet, those cookies look perfect to eat now! ha! "You are the queen of love.."....oh now, isn't that true and we certainly set the tone and mood of our households, don't we? What a great idea to get started now!

Ok, yeah, or skip the baking part and just eat the dough! Well, I've heard "other" people do that - I would never... Now I'm all excited about Valentine's Day - yay!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Yum, those look good! I'm so rubbish at baking biscuits though - too easily distracted, I think. I invariably forget them in the oven :(

Love the chocolate chip cookie idea. I will be making several of these. I, too, love Valentines Day but here in Louisiana, Mardi Gras comes near the same time so Valentine's doesn't get a lot of notice. You will see lots of Mardi Gras decorations. Schools and businesses even take off a couple of days for it.
Love your blog.

Those cookies look good! I'm not sure what to bake this year. I have a heart shaped pan so I usually make some sort of cake in it and top it with canned cherry pie filling.

I just love sugar cookies for Valentine's day with frosting and red hot candies. There was an old bakery that I remember walking to and we'd by those Sugar Cookie hearts for a nickel.

Hi Julie,
What great looking treats, now I am wondering how you bake so much and still stay so slim! I am trying to wean off the sweets but not doing so good right now. OH, and the deer, we only have white-tailed deer around here but my brother in Flagstaff have mule deer. Is that what kind you have? Anyway, have a lovely week-end my friend. Cindy
