~~FEMININE APPEAL~~

This is my daughter Lindsey, she is the youngest and last of of children to get married.
I just had to include this shot in this post about...Feminine Appeal.

~~~~~~
I hope you will enjoy all the photo's below, they appeal to my feminine taste.
All of these came from one of my favorite magazines....VICTORIA
Femininity appears to be one of those pivotal qualities that is so important,
no one can define it.
Everything has its beauty....
but not everyone sees it.
Beauty is in the eye of the BEE-holder!
Love of beauty is...Taste.
The creation of beauty is art.
Everything has its own beauty for those who have an eye to see it.
Beauty is simply reality seen with eyes of love.
Practice random beauty and senseless acts of love.
All of the above are inspired by old Hollywood glamor, nostalgia and romance.
By Margot Elena...Lollia...a life style company featuring luxurious bath and beauty formulas,
bed products, and feminine apparel. (lollialife.com)
-and-
~DRESDEN FIGURINES~
All of these beautiful figurines originated in Dresden Germany. I have always loved them, they are such delicate pieces of work.
They have been around since the 1700's, they are quite the treasured ladies.
The bombings of world war two made these unique figurines a rare item in deed.
They truly are fragile beauties.
I hope you enjoyed all these things
of.... "Feminine Beauty and Appeal"
Julie, I especially enjoyed this post about "Feminine Beauty and Appeal". I really like the style of the 40's and Old Hollywood. To me this period speaks of simplicity, daintiness and romance which when combined equals femininity.
Some very beautiful things here this morning Julie. Thanks so much for sharing. There can be beauty in even what might appear to be the ugliest of places. I think that is the blessing of a good and loving Heavenly Father. xxoo
Good morning Julie!
Such beautiful images.
Your daughter is beautiful, and you can see that she has a beautiful countenance too!
The litte figurines remind of some that my older sister used to collect, although they were not Dresden, they were very pretty.
Have a wonderful day.
Don't get pinched :)
Julie,
I don't know if I have a picture of my grandmother.
My great grandmother lived to be 99 and 7 weeks before she turned 100, she passed away.
Longevity really runs in our family. My grandmother lives in Logan and she is my mom's, mom. She is an amazing woman!
Absolutely beautiful femininity!! I have one piece of Dresden that belonged to my Grandmother.
Your daughter is beautiful!! So utterly feminine!!
I didn't know that you were due for surgery next week. I will say prayers for you...... I guess instead of looking at these procedures to prevent cancer as scary I should look at it as a blessing!!
Love,
Marilyn
I wish I had some of those Dresden ladies. I use to many years ago when I was a young thing!
Lindsey is beautiful!!!! Love your post.
Yes, Julie, isn't the beauty of the feminine creature something God entirely made to capture the eye of the masculine counterpart??? :-)
And that particular beauty is so various and unique to the eye of the beholder..
My grandmother had figurines like that. She was a very feminine lady, and loved feminine things. She raised 3 boys!!!
Your daughter's photo is the definition of the beauty of a bride to the bridegroom. breathtaking!
I agree It is important that we try to maintain that beauty as best as Mother Nature and Father Time would let us as we become older women. I think the beauty that grows on the inside as we gain wisdom and grace only enhances the outer beauty to our husbands.
Thanks for such a wonderful and thought provoking post. You are always an excellent writer and share GOOD stuff. Hugs!
God bless.
Lindsey is every bit an example of
femininity and that which is beautiful and pure. She was a gorgeous bride and now glows with motherhood! Now her own daughter will be beautiful to take after her mommy and grandma.
This is a beautiful post Julie.
I hope your St Patricks/birthday party will be fun tonight.
Ours was Saturday and Sister Ardeth Kapp spoke about sisterhood. It was wonderful. She is a lovely lady, talented and very feminine, herself!:)
We are going to the temple tonight for a lovely dinner and in prep for our ward conference. So it should be perfect!
I loved all the photos, but the one of your daughter is the best. I had to show it to my oldest daughter. She's not ready to get married (she's 16) but she loves looking at wedding dresses. I've been telling her that ones with little sleeves look so much pretty in wedding photos (so many are strapless these days). This was a perfect example and she loved it! You'll have to post some more photos of your beautiful daughter and her lovely dress.
Blessings,
Marcia
